Sponsorship Opportunities

ultraruntrack offers live GPS-estimated tracking for ultramarathons that don't publish live athlete locations. The audience is crews, families, race staff, and ultrarunners themselves—people following a single athlete or their whole field for up to 48 hours straight, refreshing the page repeatedly through the night.

We tracked the 2026 Badwater 135 with zero paid promotion. The first 35 minutes of the race drew 138 unique human visitors, peaking at 41 concurrent. 38% viewed on mobile. We saw 30 organic referrals from Facebook alone. That's a small group. It's also the exact group that will sit with this site open all night.

Why This Audience Matters

Elite ultramarathon crews are not casual observers. They plan logistics, drive hundreds of miles, rent hotels, and manage a runner's nutrition, pacing, and morale in real time. Race directors use tracking to manage course safety and timing. Sponsors here are not chasing impressions. They're connecting with people making decisions during a 24 to 48 hour window where attention is locked in.

This is first-race data. We'll publish full metrics to sponsors who run with us. Volume will grow with more tracked races, but the audience profile—deeply engaged, athletic, high intent—will not change.

Our Sponsorship Philosophy

We keep the site fast and focused. No pop-ups. No interstitials. No retargeting pixels. No tracking that outlives the user's session. A family should never have to close an ad to see their runner's position. Sponsorships are static, clean, and relevant to the race or ultrarunning itself.

Three Placement Options

Header Placement

A small sponsor badge or text link at the top of every page, present for the entire race. Reaches every visitor, every refresh. Does not distract from race data. Does not expand, animate, or layer. Good for race sponsors, major athletic brands, race-day partners.

Sidebar Information Block

A single static box alongside the tracker showing sponsor content relevant to race day: pacing strategy tips, nutrition reminders, crew communication tips, or links to a race sponsor's pre-race guide. Updated once per race, not dynamically. Keeps families informed without interrupting tracking. Good for nutrition brands, coaching services, or sponsors with educational content to share.

Race Guide Sponsorship

Sponsor a pre-race resource page: course breakdowns, training tips, crew logistics guides, or past-year race recaps. Reached by runners and crews in the weeks before the race and during preparation. No presence on the live tracking page. Good for training platforms, race travel services, or athletic nutrition brands building community.

What's Included

Detailed traffic reporting for your placement. Real metrics: visitor counts, repeat visit patterns, session length, device breakdown, referral sources. No estimated reach or projection models. You get what actually happened.

We'll work with you to write placement copy that fits the site's voice and serves the audience. Sponsorship runs for one race or can extend across multiple tracked events.
